A section of the Isa Town Souk has a lot of birds for sale. It's a busy, noisy place on the weekend. Here a couple of boys are handling a small hawk.
There were quite a few parrots perched for sale.
Besides the birds we saw a goat, a monkey, and these bunnies (sitting on top of a cage of chickens).
There was also a Peacock walking around. Check out this short video for the
sound!

I thought we were going to get to hear peacock sounds! The video was great for the sights and sounds of the souk. What a fun place to explore. I can't remember the significance of the hawks (falcons??). Don't they show royalty or something?
Not a hawk, it's a falcon, which are highly prized for bustard hunting. On flights of Gulf airlines, the first falcon is free as on-board luggage with the passenger. The second one requires the purchase of a seat. One must travel with their infants.
